Today marks the beginning of the trial for Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Mr. Bemba has been charged with two counts of crimes against humanity (rape and murder) and three counts of war crimes (rape, murder, and pillaging). The hearings will be held in open sessions and the proceedings can be streamed (with a 30-minute delay) on the ICC website.
